Allison won the Teen Choice Award for Best Sidekick in a TV Series Smallville, making her the only cast member besides the star of the show, Tom Welling, to win a Teen Choice Award.

Allison has green eyes.

Allison wanted to be a marine biologist and a dolphin trainer when she was growing up. In her late teens, she realized she had a strong passion for acting. That is why she decided to become an actress.

She has a German Shepherd/Malamute dog named Phantom.

Allison's guilty pleasure is staying in watching movies, one after another. She doesn't own a television set, but watches DVD media on her computer.

Allison had her hair cut short just before the third season of "Smallville" (2001) went into production. After shooting the season opener, the producers insisted that she wear a hairpiece until her hair grew longer.

She had a crush on Tom Welling during the shooting of the first three episodes of Smallville.

When Allison was young, she went into modeling for a short period because her mother thought she "looked cute in clothes."

Allison made her directorial debut with Jer Bear Productions' staging of Hair. She got acclaim from LA Weekly, Backstage West, The Tolucan Times, and The Burbank Times.

Allison and her best friend, Kristin Kreuk, started a not-for-profit arts grant program called Juicy Peach in 2008.

She worked both as a choreographer and a performer in Broadway's "Rent" and "Chicago".

She once did a toothpaste commercial with Draft Beer Man. The commercial only ran for two months in the Minneapolis area before being pulled.

Her preferred charity is the Make-A-Wish Foundation. This foundation is all about granting the wishes of children with life-threatening conditions.
